Zaver Petroleum Gulf Limited (ZP Gulf) was established in Dubai, for conducting oil and gas exploration and development operations in the Middle East and Africa. Its initial active operations are in Sudan where it has three large Blocks that are Block 9, 11 and A.
Zaver Petroleum signed an Exploration and Production Sharing Agreement (EPSA) for Block-9 in August 2003 covering an area of 126,000 Sq.Km. The total work commitment for this block over a six-year exploration program is 2000 Km seismic acquisition and drilling of seven (7) exploration wells.
ZP Gulf signed a new EPSA for Block-11 which is adjacent to Block-9 and covers an area of 125,000 Sq.Km. Both of these blocks (9 & 11), are located in the north-central part of Sudan and within close proximity to the Capital City of Khartoum. The total commitments for Block 11 over the six-year program are 2000 Km seismic and five (5) exploration wells. ZP Gulf also signed a new EPSA for Block-A, which is adjacent to Block-B of TOTAL in the south of Sudan and covers an area of 45,000 Sq.Km, bringing the total area of the Sudan concessions to nearly 300,000 Sq.Km. The total commitments for Block -A over the six-year program are 2000 Km seismic and four (4) exploration wells.
